A Poker Ride involves a scenic trail ride where participants collect playing cards at various checkpoints along the route. At the end of the ride, the participant holding the strongest poker hand wins a prize. It’s a fun, interactive way to combine the thrill of horseback riding with the excitement of poker, set against the spectacular landscape of Bozeman, Montana.

Location: Starting at GallopQuest Stables, riders will explore carefully selected trails that showcase the stunning vistas and diverse ecosystems around Bozeman.
Entry Fee: $50 per rider (includes lunch, dinner, and refreshments)
The Day’s Itinerary
- 9:30 AM: Check-In
Early arrivals can check in, where you’ll receive your starting poker card, a trail map highlighting all the checkpoints, and any last-minute instructions for the day. - 10:00 AM: The Ride Commences
Riders set off at their own pace, exploring designated trails and collecting playing cards at each checkpoint. Our trails are chosen to accommodate a range of riding abilities, ensuring everyone from novices to experienced riders can enjoy the day. - 1:00 PM: Lunch Break at the Halfway Point
A rustic, outdoor lunch will be served at a scenic location on the trail. This is a great opportunity to relax, enjoy some good food, chat with fellow riders, and maybe even strategize about the poker game. - 3:00 PM: Resume Riding
After lunch, riders continue along the trail, collecting their remaining cards and heading towards the finish line. - 5:00 PM: Dinner and Poker Hand Reveal
Back at GallopQuest Stables, a delicious dinner awaits along with the much-anticipated reveal of poker hands. Prizes will be awarded for the best and worst hands, and various other categories to keep things lively and fun. - 6:00 PM: Closing Ceremonies
